How much does a countertop cost?

That depends on the type of top and the material it is made from.

How long does the process take?

Generally speaking, two to four weeks, depending on the type of top.

Who installs my countertop?

We offer installation within our service area or you can have someone else install it for you.

Do you do the plumbing?

No, we are not licensed to do plumbing or electrical work.

Are you the lowest price fabricator?

No. We provide a fair and honest price for the product and service we provide. The old cliché, “You get what you pay for” is absolutely true.

Are you licensed in Pennsylvania and fully insured?

Absolutely. Our license number is PA HIC #PA085163.

What is the warranty on my countertop?

Laminate and granite countertops come with a one-year warranty; solid surface and quartz countertops come with a 10-year warranty.

Are my choices limited when buying a countertop?

Your choices are virtually endless. That’s why we invite you to visit our showroom.

What’s the procedure when pricing and buying a countertop?

We recommend you come to our shop armed with a basic drawing of your kitchen (with dimensions). Next, you’ll pick the type of countertop, edge profile, and color you prefer. You’ll also decide if you want us to install your countertop for you.

Do you stock countertops?

Yes. We stock three different profiles of postform tops in 35 beautiful patterns.

What is the difference between a postform and a custom-built countertop?

Postform countertops are pre-manufactured and known for their rolled-front edge and one-piece construction. Custom-built countertops are manufactured to your specifications from start to finish.

What is a Formica® top?

Formica® is a brand name for plastic laminate. We carry both Formica® and WilsonArt® laminates.

Is one brand name better than the next when buying a countertop?

CounterTop Solutions only deals with strong, reputable companies. It basically comes down to, “Which do you like the most?”

Will you help us pick colors?

No. Color is a very personal decision and you have to live with your choice.

Can I buy from you?

We build countertops for homeowners, contractors, lumber yards, home centers, apartment complexes, nursing homes, etc.
